Alicante Airport

Webtrak, Air traffic monitor Alicante airport (ALC)

Webtrak is a tool that allows you to monitor the flight map in real time in the Alicante Airport area. The system shows takeoffs and landings in real time and with a 2-month history, showing aircraft data, altitude and flight path and the noise they generate.

Alicante airport tracking flights

The data related to the aircraft and its path are collected and displayed on a map of the Alicante area in order to monitor the acoustic levels generated in the area by that operation, while providing interesting data on the meteorological conditions of the flight area, the number of operations per hour, flight paths, etc.

The monitoring of acoustic emissions is not only carried out in overflown areas, but also on the ground and especially at night, on the aircraft parking aprons near the towns bordering the airport, by means of a system of microphones and video cameras called SCVA (Visual and Acoustic Control System).

The Webtrack system

Among other visual data, the read color reveals the landings and the green the take offs. The airplanes with unknown trajectory are shown in amber.

The Webtrack system will be shown in a new window by clicking on Load Webtrak .

Interactive noise emission map

One of the main features of Webtrack is that of checking the noise levels, caused by different aircrafts. This function is accomplished, thanks to the data provided by the noise monitoring terminals TMR that are set up in the surroundings of the airport.

In an attempt to provide the inhabitants of nearby populations with transparent and reliable information about aeronautical operations and the hereby generated acoustic noise level, AENA has made this information tool publicly available.
If a particularly noisy event has occurred near any place of your interest, the system allows you to make a complaint, in order to investigate about the origin and type of the incident.

Data in Webtrak

The data represented in this Alicante webtrak monitor correspond to the measured values and trajectories received by the SIRALC system.

This system is totally reliable, although certain data are provided for safety reasons with a 30 minutes delay and some flights will not be shown due to operational restrictions or other safety reasons. Noise levels can be consulted after 24 hours and can be consulted for up to 60 days in their history. This period may be modified by Aena without prior notice.

You can make a complaint through the same Webtrack application, regarding the noise,  caused by any aircraft operating Alicante-Elche Airport. You only have to localize the aircraft in the application and click on the aircraft icon. Select the icon “Complaint record” and fill in the data requested in the complaint form.

If you wish, you can send your questions or comments about this application to AENA. Concerning Alicante area, please contact Aena to alccalmed@aena.es
